OIOI is artisanal jewellery made in Florence.
Pieces built with traditional techniques, selected alloys, precious enamels and carefully chosen stones.
Creations that live off-scale, off-algorithm, off-trend.
Clear forms, symbols, considered proportions and details that sometimes shift the balance, sometimes set it straight.
Handmade, designed for those who feel.

The symbol of OIOI is inspired by the ancient crest of the Major Guilds.
The door of the Arte di Por Santa Maria, under which goldsmiths also worked, is my reference.
The panels are an O and an I that intersect, repeating like a rhythm, a mantra, a code.
It is the threshold between what I gather and what I build.
It holds together past and present, craft and vision, technique and creative freedom.
The door is my way of saying: come in, there's a world inside.
I draw, study proportions, volumes and architectures.
At the bench the form takes shape: metal sheet, wax, files, soldering, inlays, surfaces to refine, solutions to find.
I work with artisanal techniques such as lost-wax casting and sheet metalworking, with stone setting when the project demands it.
My approach stems from the interweaving of materials, symbols, images, architectures and memory.
The process unites precision, sensitivity and that eye which recognises when a form 'works': balance, intensity, character.
Each piece is a calibrated ecosystem.

OIOI is Florence filtered through a gaze shaped elsewhere.
Cinema, architecture, art, music, complex imaginaries: everything becomes visual grammar. Sharp signs, contrasts, proportions.
An essential, symbolic, precise aesthetic.
With memory, but without mannerism.
OIOI speaks with a Florentine voice โ dry, ironic, sharp.
That old lament that is never self-pity, but a critical gaze.
Telling it like it is, without frills, without flattery, with a sideways smile and a quip that lightens while it stings.
It is a language born in the workshop and ending in the form.
Rigorous but never rigid, intelligent but never snobbish, free but never precious.
It is the lens through which OIOI sees everything: proportions, symbols, offcuts, intuitions.
OIOI is also this: fiercely Florentine, elegantly impatient.

OIOI has no gender.
It is for those who recognise a sign, a vibration, an inner balance.
It is for those who seek presence, not approval.
I am Gaia Cionnini.
Born in Arezzo, the City of Gold, a place where the goldsmithing tradition is not a trade: it is air, childhood, shared culture.
I grew up among workbenches, tools, ancient gestures.
My trajectory crosses Arezzo, Florence and London: studies in cinema, set design and visual arts, and many years in creative marketing.
Layers that have shaped my gaze.
At the bench these lives meet my manual skill, an artisanal intelligence made of gesture, eye and visual culture.
It is there that OIOI stops being a lament.
