Shipping policy
Last updated: May 16, 2026
OiOi Shop is operated by OIOI DI GAIA CIONNINI, with registered office at Via Borgo Tegolaio 5, 50125 Firenze (FI), Italy.
For shipping questions on a specific order: store@oioijewellery.it (please include your order number).
Where we ship
We ship only to destinations that appear as available during checkout. If your country or region is not offered, we are unfortunately unable to fulfil your order through the store.
What “delivery time” means
Delivery time has two parts:
Processing — time needed to confirm payment, prepare, pack and hand the parcel over to a carrier (“dispatch”).
Transit — time the carrier takes to deliver after dispatch (“shipping” in everyday language).
All dates shown on product pages or in emails are indicative estimates only. They are not guaranteed commitments. Actual times depend on inventory, artisan production schedules, courier capacity, customs processing, strikes, holidays, adverse weather and other causes outside our reasonable control.
Catalogue / ready-to-ship items
For standard catalogue goods we aim to dispatch within a few business days (typically about 3–10 business days) after order acceptance, excluding weekends and Italian public holidays.
That range is deliberately wide while we refine repeatable packing and courier workflows.
Made-to-order, bespoke & workshop pieces
Pieces that are produced or finished to order need individual workshop time.
For such orders, dispatch may take much longer. As a guiding reference only, bespoke work commonly requires around 10–30 days before dispatch, and sometimes longer for complex commissions. We may give a more tailored estimate by email after reviewing your order.
If you require delivery by a specific date (e.g. a gift deadline), please contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee urgency production unless expressly agreed in writing.
Sole proprietorship — travel & seasonal closure
OiOi Shop is operated as a sole proprietorship with hands-on artisan production. There may be periods (for example parts of summer, holidays, travel, fairs or personal leave) during which workshop activity and dispatch are reduced or paused.
During such periods:
Processing windows may lengthen substantially;
We will try to show a clear banner or notice on the storefront when practical;
Existing open orders may be fulfilled before or after the interruption, depending on production stage—we will communicate by email if that affects timing.
Ordering during a slowdown does not waive statutory consumer rights applicable to your purchase, where those apply—but estimated delivery stretches accordingly.
Carriers & tracking
We are finalizing carrier arrangements. Until published on the site checkout, parcels will be entrusted to professional express or postal partners suited to jewellery.
When your order ships we generally provide tracking, where the service allows. If tracking is unavailable for a route, we will confirm dispatch by email.
Shipping costs, delivery options, and estimated ranges at checkout are calculated automatically according to Shopify’s shipping settings and therefore reflect the nearest information we have at payment time—they may later be amended only in line with Shopify’s flows and mandatory law where applicable.
Customs, duties & taxes (international orders)
Outside Italy or the European Union—as well as certain special territories—additional import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees or local taxes may be charged on arrival by the carrier or customs authority.
Those amounts are ordinarily payable by you as the importer, unless Shopify’s localized checkout explicitly states otherwise for your jurisdiction. Refusal of a customs-charged shipment may delay or invalidate delivery; charges related to refused delivery may be invoiced according to courier rules.
Please check your local thresholds before ordering.
Address accuracy & refused delivery
You are responsible for a correct and deliverable shipping address.
If an item is returned because of an incomplete or wrong address, refusal without cause, prolonged absence beyond carrier rules or failed collection, extra shipping fees may apply for redelivery—or the order may be treated under our Refund policy minus reasonable fulfilment/restocking/handling costs permitted by applicable law.
Risk & title
Risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes according to applicable law and prevailing Incoterms / carrier practice communicated at checkout—but typically passes to you when the parcel is handed to the first carrier, except where mandatory consumer legislation provides otherwise.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Shipping policy to reflect carriers, territories, timelines or Shopify configuration. Continued use of the shop after posting updates constitutes acknowledgment of those changes unless mandatory law requires a different regime.
